[SVT049]
Channel X [Format B / Koletzki] : X-Files Remixed : Stil Vor Talent : 12"
After the release of their debut album earlier this year, the two Berlin-based producers André and Mirko also known as Channel X get their first full-on remix package on Stil vor Talent. First up is “Freak Show", the original track being full of Berlin 1920ies magic circus craziness reminiscence. Now the grand seigneurs of minimal tech house take the original and create an equally thumping and mad array of drunk trumpets and dizzy beats, and somewhere along the track there is a clumsy bassline that’s falling all over the place. Adding some stabs on the break and turning the bassline from clumsy to very chunky, this track is sure to set the crowd right for a heavenly peak-time attack. Pure dancefloor material. On the flip it’s label boss Oliver Koletzki himself who puts his magic house fingers onto the super sweet “Snug Descent” that features Jake the Rapper hypnotically talking about the comfort zone that is the couch. Oliver turns the track into a Caribean house anthem that is not only super groovy, but also so deeply delicate as house music should be. Add some wonderful E-Piano magic and some percussions on the breakdown and this track will surely put a smile on everyone’s face. Two great remixes in this package! / Minimal / House / [9/22/2010]

No Regular  Play [Zev / D. Kurtel / G. Mizrahi] : Doesn't Matter : Wolfandlamb : 12"
No Regular Play are the extra talented Brooklyn duo that have an intrinsic understanding of bodymoving music. ‘Doesn’t Matter’ is their best collection of tracks yet, eclipsing the listener in a heart warming bed of sound and slowly but assuredly guiding them into a new musical understanding. The Wolf + Lamb label has caused a revolution in dance, slowing down tempos and bringing more soul and song-based components to the genre. No Regular Play have been hugely instrumental in this change, their studies together in Cuba on Afro-Cuban rhythm, music and culture plus experience playing with James Brown, Lauren Hill, and indie band Beirut have led them to possess a thrilling and tightly structured talent in production. The title track ‘Doesn’t Matter’ twists and writhes with acidic synths and fantastical sounds, layered with as much retrospective as futuristic foresight, illustrating the truly insightful nature of NRP. One half of Wolf + Lamb and head of Double Standard records, Gadi Mizrahi pairs up for the  rst time with Crosstown Rebels’ lady of the moment, Deniz Kurtel to deliver its electrifying remix, armed with an arsenal of raw and distorted elements that set the dance  oor alight. On the  ip ‘Slide Away,’ is a wistful creation from NRP,  lled with the live trumpet solos from Greg Paulus (one half of the band) merged with more mind-bending electronics and poignant undertones. For the  nal curtain the remaining half of W+L, Zev settles the package with his ‘endless summer remix’, revisiting the distorted electronics but softening with sweeping pads and a blissful aura. ‘Doesn’t Matter’ EP is as unique as it is pleasurable and possesses all the elements of another heart stopper from the W+L camp. / Minimal / House / [9/22/2010]

Steffen Deux : New York Sun EP : 8Bit : 12"
8 bit continue their tradition of presenting the next names to break through in the German underground scene, with this new EP from Steffen Deux. The Mannheim based producer delivers 'New York Sun ep', a 4 track EP for the deeper heads featuring standout single 'New York Sun' plus 'So Flow', 'would you dance' and the digital only offering 'Brooklyn'. Following his first release 'Yankee Clipper' on air london, 'New York Sun' reinforces Steffen Deux as a new name to watch out for. / Minimal / Tech-House / [9/22/2010]

One Brother [Martinez / Mesteno] : Under The Water : Arti Farti : 12"
The Martinez/Mesteño remix of the club classic 'Under the Water' is the first leg in a series of remixes to be patiently released throughout 2010 : initiated by one half of the original Brother Brown outfit; Atle, now operating under the moniker One Brother. The Martinez/Mesteño mix has only been sent to a carefully selected handful of friends and family around the world (less than 15 fifteen movers and shakers). Simply to see if we can give this mix the longest possible and well deserved (we think anyway) run for its money. Release is set to July 2010 : so in the meantime this mix will be yours to play out exclusively. Please do enjoy... / Minimal / Tech-House / [9/22/2010]

[CNS037]
Alex Flitsch [Patrick Chardronnet] : The Farm Session : Connaisseur : 12"
Alex Flitsch meets Audiofly was the first part of the labelhead’s series, turning out to be one of Connaisseur’s strongest releases in 2009. In Beatport’s Tech-House top ten for weeks, Long Way To Go was on heavy rotation on every open air party last summer. Alex Flitsch meets Butch, the second strike, was part of the Grand Cru 2010 compilation, an acid-influenced House-cut. Now, Alex presents his third cooperation, this time teaming up with the indefatigable Mutant Clan aka Timo Maas and Santos. Compared to his previous team works, Imanah has the strongest Techno appeal, a dirty weirdo with strong synths and catchy percussions. Patrick Chardronnet’s remix on the flipside is the perfect counterpart. Working strongly with the spooky vocals of the original, Patrick’s version is dominated by a massive bassline and deep and dubby chords. The uplifting string break together the twittering birds make this remix a genuine open-air pearl. / Minimal / Tech-House / [9/22/2010]

[COR10007]
Simon Wish vs Cruz & Lati / Maetrik : Dawn's Highway / Snorkel : Cocoon : 12"
The track “Dawn’s Highway” from No. 7 of the 10″ collector’s series is a collaboration between the two Puerto Rican’s Jonny Cruz & Jojo Lati and Italy’s Simone Montomoli aka Simon Wish. Simon originates from Tuscany, but has lived in Miami for several years now. He is an inherent part of the Sleaze Tech posse around Maurizio Ruggiero, Daniele Campanga and Paolo Driver. Joel Latimer and Jonny Cruz have been friends since their childhood days, they both moved to Miami a few years ago and produce house music together, with a large catalogue of releases under different aliases spanning a variety of genres. The track “Dawn’s Highway” features aside from the production aspect a really funky and sexy vocal performed by Mr. Cruz, who just moved to Berlin this summer. For Jojo Lati, audio is part of his whole life. As a professional audio engineer he dedicates his life to manipulating sound or anything else that can be listened to. Their vinyl debut “Dawn’s Highway” perfectly illustrates the biographical culture clash : here, reduced percussive Tech Funk in the style of Marco Carola meets nasty vocals sounding like the old Chicago Trax while the sexy-elastic bass line makes the influences of the Florida metropolis abundantly clear…More popular over here, on the other hand, is Eric Estornel aka Maetrik. With his numerous releases for renowned labels from the likes of Treibstoff from Cologne, Dumb Unit and Steve Bug’s Audiomatique platform, the Texan who is now living in Valencia has proven to be one of the most reliable protagonists at the junction of straight House and Techno since the year 2000. “Snorkel” lives mainly from its level of tension that is consequently kept throughout the track: smoothly aspirated vocals provide just the right dash of Soul for a hypnotic strong work horse of a track that also repeatedly takes the pressure from the boiler by using noisy breaks. / Minimal / Tech-House / [9/22/2010]

[HIGHGRADE082CD]
Tom Clark : Pressure Points : Highgrade : 12"
Good music can sometimes be as effective as acupuncture. You just have to find the right point and with a tiny needle, it’s possible to trigger an amazing impact. Tom Clark’s Pressure Points is just such an album, knowing exactly the right places to exert pressure and thereby leading listeners by invisible threads into a truly hypnotic and pleasurable experience. Three years after his last album, Tom Clark now presents his third studio excursion. It has been some time in the making, for there has been a lot to do, but the time has proven well worth it. This is not a club album, as he says, Pressure Points shows something of Clark’s other side, and of his musical background. It is a confident and complex, but perfectly coordinated album that reflects Tom Clark’s artistic development and is orientated to the sound of his DJ sets: Groovy, deep and full of class. Twelve tracks ranging from downbeat journeys into minimal house, pushing at all the right points of its listeners. The tracks move slowly but constantly forward and enter into your body like a subtle herbal medicine. We can hear that Tom Clark is not interested in an immediate and superficial reaction from his dancers. Here he finds a more relaxed and more permanent effect. You don’t have to listen actively, the feeling is automatic. There is no escape. You could call Clark’s Sound melancholic or anxious, and it’s entirely fascinating. Especially in the tracks with Wareika singer Florian Schirmacher, which emphasise the full effect. Pressure Points is a timeless and universal album that will reveal more and more on every listen. This is music that gives its audience exactly what they need. / Minimal / Tech-House / [9/22/2010]

Sebrok : Out In Miami : Ideal : 12"
Berlin producer Sebrok, over the past two years, has ridden a tidal wave of support for his stunning releases on labels including Minisketch, SCI+TEC, Octopus Recordings. Today Sebrok makes his debut on IDEAL with his homage to one of his favourite Cities. The 'Out In Miami' EP sees the German matching dark electronic touches with fresh, organic, percussive sounds, on both 'Lincoln Road' and 'Jefferson Avenue'. History: Sebrok's 2009 release, the 'The X' EP for Dubfire's SCI+TEC imprint really cemented his place in the record boxes of the worlds biggest names and quickly followed with his 'Vision' EP for Minisketch, the title track of which was selected by Dubfire for his Cocoon compilation. Not just an artist, Sebrok (alongside good friend Marc Miroir) is also the owner of Paso Music. Recent releases have seen Sebrok's 'Dangerous EP' as well as his huge co-production with Tassillo from Pan-Pot 'Who Stole The Soul'. / Minimal / Tech-House / [9/22/2010]

Tom Demac / Motorunit & Cassique  : Rivalry With Irony / Black Beauty : Liebe : 12"
Tom demac : rivalry with irony After his last soulful, super-funky output on liebe*detail, Manchester based Tom Demac hands in another winning track for the label. This is an addictive slice of heavyweight, modern house : fantastically produced beats and bass push throughout, while dubbed out synths and a spinetingling vocal make this autumnal party track really shine. Tom is certainly a talent to watch and he’s already proved his devotion to the scene with a respected release catalogue dating back to 2004 motorunit & cassique feat. nico : black beauty German newcomer-trio Motorunit & Cassique’s ominous ‘Black Beauty’ features the ever so tounge-in-cheek vocals from British boy Nico, who tells the familiar tale of nightclub find and seek! Its a deep, tribal workout : seamlessly melting tough, house club beats with a balearic melodic vibe as the track progresses. We’re curious to see what more treasures this new trio cooks up! / Minimal / Tech-House / [9/22/2010]

Guido Schneider & Jens Bond [Tiefschwarz] : Youme : LevelNONzero : 12"
This is going to be one of the big SummerBombs this year ! Guido Schneider & Jens Bond sticked together for this production. They created a driving techhouse tune, wich keeps you on the dancefloor because of it`s fabulous mixture of groove and hypnotic vocals. On the flip, we have a Tiefschwarz Remix, which is more into minimal. They created a new feeling by changing the vocals into something different and reducing the beats. / Minimal / Tech-House / [9/22/2010]

[MACROM20]
Stefan Goldmann : The Maze Part 1-3 : Macro : 12"
“Rough and primitive, this is one big wild party.” House Music 2010. All over the world you’ll hear the same lush, looped streamlined house grooves night in, night out down the polished alley of politeness. You can drop in and out of the party at any hour and you’ll basically hear the same thing. Strict limits rule. Well : that’s over right now. Stefan Goldmann never accepted any limitations and boundaries. That’s why he created THE MAZE. THE MAZE tears the agreement of boredom apart. THE MAZE burns the declaration of dependence. THE MAZE takes the original rough sweaty House sound of liberation to distorted excess and slams it right in your polite face. THE MAZE is House not just with a capital H, but with a capital O, U, S and E too. Do you remember why you started going out in the first place? If not, THE MAZE will remind you with the largest feedback overdose since Jimi and Miles devastated the Isle of Wight. Recorded in one take in an all-analog set up, Stefan hooked up drum machines, distorition pedals and a Theremin-controlled Fuzz box for the ultimate screaming machine jam. Now spanning two sides of a 12″. / Minimal / Tech-House / [9/22/2010]

Bobby O'Donnell & Annie Errez : The Voices : Nummer : 12"
"The Voices" is the debut 12" from Bobby and Annie. Drawing on their experiences as residents at the Mint Club, UK, the pair have crafted a versatile EP that sits as comfortably in a peak time set as it does on a hazy 6am dance floor. Taken from a collection of vocal out-takes "the voices" have been cleverly obscured through various production techniques and layered around drums and old school analogue synth lines to unique effect. The results are two haunting, hypnotic, yet upbeat DJ tools. The title track, Voices, uses deftly interwoven vocal samples as the focus and driving hook. Shuffled percussion takes a back seat amidst a discordant, attention-grabbing synth interlude that harks back to the playful garage sound of 90s Chicago house. The outcome is dramatic, intense and functional. On the B-side, Loose Ends, is a more rugged affair that gives the bass and drums centre stage. The vocals are pitched and trippily float in and out of the track whilst the familiar sound of Fairlight stabs punctuate the groove. The effect is eerie, yet accessible, and rounds off this stunning EP. / Minimal / Tech-House / [9/22/2010]

[PERLON83]
Portable : This Life Of Illusion : Perlon : 12"
Alan Abrahams is Portable and this is his second 12″ for Perlon. A pretaste of his forthcoming album, expected sometime in 2011 through this channel. After spending some time in London and Berlin, Alan recently moved to Lisbon, where he continuously works on his very own definition of House. While the A-side, “Life magically is” is a stripped down mental monster, the B-side offers the perfect love song entitled “Find Me". It’s all about soul… ….and if you have the chance, we highly recommend Portable’s current live show…….it’s a trip! / Minimal / Tech-House / [9/22/2010]

[PUZZLE008]
Mirco Violi [Je Davu] : Enchante / Pamplona : Puzzle Traxx : 12"
After a short break of redefinition Puzzle Traxx gets back on stage and welcomes a new artist to the family. Italians are well-known for being experts in pizza, pasta, amore and : thanx to artist like Mirco Violi : some impressing dance electronica. After well received releases on labels such as Be Chosen, All Inn Limited, Bloop, OFF, Hypercolour and Adult Only, the young rising star is giving his debut on Puzzle Traxx. "Enchanté", a bassheavy driving house track with weird infatuating vocals, is probably his most outstanding work to date and has already caused waves among chosen tastemakers worldwide. "Pamplona" is not less unique, bringing some crazy sax and flutes on the floors. But not enough of the dancefloor madness, as the package gets crowned by a dirty as hell remix from Amsterdam's House hero Je Dàvu aka Melon, who received heavy support of the worldwide DJ elite lately for his raw meat tracks like "I Zebra" on Platzhirsch, "Music got you movin" or more housy Melon reworks for artists like Sascha Dive or the Rebirth label. / Minimal / Tech-House / [9/22/2010]

[SFLD003]
David Durango / Den Ishu & Superlounge : Walk In Your Skin / Neo 9 : Soulfooled : 12"
After successful first releases with Audiofly and Alex Niggemann : and the support of top artists like Richie Hawtin, Radio Slave, Timo Maas, Jimpster and Anja Schneider, to name a few : Berlin's Soulfooled label is about to put the icing on the cake with their third EP 'SLFD003' this time featuring Pokerflat producer David Durango and a slick studio collaboration between Soulfooled co-owner Superlounge and their friend Den Ishu (Desolat). Following his spectacular remix for Alex Niggemann's "Jewels", Soulfooled welcomes David Durango for his first release on the label. "Walk in your Skin" is an entrancing summer's-end affair. The groove here is deep and rippling beneath velvety organic chords. An exotic flute flutters in and out, creating a darkly mysterious ambience balance by languid rhythms and alluring melodies. Pure sensuality.. / Minimal / Tech-House / [9/22/2010]

[SOUVENIR029]
Tiefschwarz [Guido Schneider] : Melte Chocolate 1 : Souvenir : 12"
Tiefschwarz and Souvenir Records proudly present: TIEFSCHWARZ “MELTED CHOCOLATE 1″. No summer break for Tiefschwarz! On top of touring the world with their new live show together with Santé and their always edgy DJ sets, Ali and Basti Schwarz have collected outstanding new remix materials inspired by the candy world of their last LP “Chocolate", which will be released from now on in a series of “Melted Chocolate” singles including remix contributions by REBOOT, SOULCLAP, PENNER & MUDER, SIS, GUIDO SCHNEIDER, RUEDE HAGELSTEIN, KIKI and THE TIEFSCHWARZ brothers themselves. The 29th EP release on their own Souvenir imprint compiled a first set of those extra gifts: one TIEFSCHWARZ REWORK version of “STONES", two remixes by Guido Schneider and SIS of “FIND ME” featuring CASSY and one remix by RUEDE HAGELSTEIN of “LEGENDS". In other words: four more opportunities to play “Chocolate” over the months to come. Tiefschwarz’s “STONES REWORK” has the rhythmical obedience and intricacies of a fully automated machine. It is easy to get lost in the plethora of alternate beats that merge in and out of each other. Layering on top of this bed of percussion is the “blink and you miss” stabs of vocals and melodic synthesizers that build to a fantastic climax at the songs mid-point. Hypnotic is a term that is thrown about somewhat in these genres; this time…it has a rightful home in this track! Released early this year, “FIND ME” featuring CASSY has made it’s way to the charts of an incredible amount of twisted House experts and is a perfect counterpoint to “STONES". With a much more organic flavor, GUIDO SCHNEIDER (A-list champion of Poker Flat) keeps a strong pace with the marching octave bass, large & lazy claps accentuate the beat with sweeping synthesizer swells that evolve into the lead vocal line sweetly delivered to finish off the arrangement. / Minimal / Tech-House / [9/22/2010]

With the release of Spirit Catcher's second long player “Partners in crime” on the horizon, an album that delivers a huge range of sounds from the crispy hybrid of 80s funk and electronica beats to groovy, deep digging tech house rhythms, it is time for Systematic to unleash the first single from the album. Part 1 of the 'Vinyl Edition' features not only the sexy, rolling electronic grooves of album track "No Way Out", but also two different but equally amazing remixes. The first is Benny Rodrigues' mix of 'No Way Out'. Label chief Marc Romboy was blown away by Benny's recent remix of Josh Wink and is delighted to have him feature on this release, turning in a devilishly rocker! Traversable Wormhole : Vol. 1-5 Adam X 68min Mix : CLR : CD
In 2009 a series of five anonymously produced ink stamped vinyl recorded releases appeared in the global techno scene under the mysterious guise “Traversable Wormhole. The series released exclusively on vinyl. The sound of “Traversable Wormhole is a unique signature of sci-fi laden techno music with gaps of time, space & bass in between sound & rhythm. Within a month’s time of it’s conception Volume 2 of the series appeared and a huge buzz was soon amassed on the project. Accusations on who was the artist behind the project ran wild. People all over the techno scene had made theories to who was behind it. The project quickly received huge support from many of the world’s most renowned techno shops such as Rub A Dub , Hardwax, Juno & Decks. Word traveled fast through the wormhole and it was soon reported that globally respected dj’s such as Chris Liebing, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Mathew Herbert, Ryan Elliot, Andrew Galluzi, Surgeon, Function, Frankie Bones, Surgeon, DJ Deep & Radioslave were all supporting the sound of TW. With the series fast approaching into further galaxies with the appearance of Vol 3. Techno cult blogsite MNMLSSG (http://mnmlssg.blogspot.com) tracked down TW via Twitter. A sonar ping was sent back to the popular blog and soon a “Traversable Wormhole” mix appeared anonymously on the site, receiving rave reviews. Their were also reports through the anonymous “Traversable Wormhole” Myspace profile that dj’s from the dubstep scene were supporting the songs that had more of a broken beat structure in the series. As the series transgressed to Vol 5 by the year end of 2009 the mystique of anonymity continued to grow. To usher in the very start of 2010 “Traversable Wormhole” would release the sixth volume of the series... / Techno / [9/22/2010]

[FIGSPCG]
Dimi Angelis & Jeroen Search : Figure SPC G : Figure SPC : 12"
Figure mainstays Dimi Angélis & Jeroen Search return with their next deep flowing 4 track EP for Figure SPC. The sub-label of Len Faki's impressive imprint, SPC stands for quality, wide-ranging productions from some of the world's most creative electronic musicians. Launching headfirst into the classic-flavoured drum patterns of 'Generator', we remember just what a magic touch this pair has. Characteristic, impeccable production; rich, gorgeous analog subtleties and unstoppable machine funk. This is a mind-twisting passage for creative djs during urgent moments! The blissfully deep 'Nausea' is in fact not the sickly cut you might expect, but a reduced exercise in harmonic minimalism from the duo. Soft key stabs float on a bed of breathing noise in this essential mixing tool. The flowering, uplifting and warm vibes of Cortex are all we need to remember to stay positive in these uncertain, modern times. Never-ending, revolving and re-generating, this melodic beauty flutters on over any adversities. Believe! Finally the heavy tones of 'Vertigo' drop the sweetness, make no apologies, and administer a liberal measure of the deep surging attitude to the mix! Powerful, rising synth stabs encapsulate this typically tense Angélis & Search jam which just refuses to hide in the background. / Techno / [9/22/2010]

San Soda : Immers & Daarentegen : We Play House : 2X12"
This limited vinyl version of the album contains 7 tracks that were never before available on vinyl. Also includes a bonus cd version of the full album. "It’s been a little over two years since the world first heard about San Soda. Well, the 300 lucky ones who managed to score a copy of WPH000’s limited vinyl only release that is... Since then both We Play House Recordings and San Soda have come a long way from a Belgian anomaly to an internationally acclaimed house music house of trust.  And so we felt it was time to release a first CD. And the logical choice was to present to you the debut album of San Soda, containing a couple of tracks from his previous releases on WPH and a whole bunch of new tracks, which see San Soda going beyond the house format to give us some of the deepest beat excursions of the year. Worth noting: all tracks from the sought-after WPH Purple – which was vinyl only – are included in this package in one way or the other. ‘Immers & Daarentegen’ is an album in the true sense of the word, because it’s not just a collection of tracks, it’s a genuine listening experience from beginning to end, a testament to the talent and skills of this young Belgian producer with the brightest of futures. And of course we could not resist confusing our non-Dutchspeaking fans a bit more with some crazy titles..." / House / [9/22/2010]

Terrance McDonald : Mind Over Matter EP : M>O>S Deep : 12"
Collectors Alert! Repress of a forgotten old school Chicago House jams. Originally released on Trax' sister Saber label. Remastered/recut, Comes with a Steve Poindexter edit. Real Chicago madness!! Col vinyl available as long as we have stock. "This was my very first release (1991) and I was 16 at the time. Mind Over Matter was recorded at Hair Bear Studio in Alsip, IL with the help of my best friend DJ Skull. I used the legendary Roland 808, 727, 303 along with other vintage synths.  The other two tracks : Spaced Out and Back From Canada were recorded in Chicago, IL at DJ Skull's home studio. The setup here was the Alesis SR16, Roland DR 550, and a couple of other Roland vintage synths. Through a lucky introduction through DJ Skull to Ron Carroll and Steve Poindexter who were working for Trax /Saber Records at the time, I was able to land my first record deal.  Although this release was considered a success,(by Saber Records standards), I saw very little royalties due to the accounting malpractices often carried out by the label's owner Larry Sherman. Needless to say, being only 16 and hearing my tracks pumped on the radio and seeing it fly off the shelves in the stores was good enough for me!" / House / Chicago / [9/22/2010]

[MIRAU011]
Erdbeerschnitzel [Tuff City Kids] : To An End : Mirau : 12"
The amiably deranged Erdbeerschnitzel, alias The Dark Side of the Meat is called Tim Keiling, half of whose life has been spent making music. With his self-distributed album “pathetik party", dispersed among an inhibited, then startled public in free download grab bags,he demonstrated the lavish, unrestrained use of the musical propeller, drawing on influences from Drum&Bass, Elektro, Breakbeat, Hip Hop, Techno, Deep House & Disco. “To an End” is a glittering soul essence that guarantees for a perspiring spell of hopping and swaying, and “I Wonder” bursts with funk euphoria, screaming for confetti to pelt the dance floor. This release comes with a hypnotic Tuff City Kids : remix. Tuff City Kids are Phillip Lauer of Arto Mwambe (Brontosaurus) fame and Running Back’s Gerd Janson. Everytime they meet at the P&G Music Factory, these kids show a love for cheesy snares and cheeky vocals. Remixing the likes of Boom Clap Bachelors or Azari & III so far, they’ve applied their scientific methods to Erdbeerschnitzel now. And once again it makes use of someone singing about love. / House / Club / [9/22/2010]

Recloose : Early Works Part 1 : Rush Hour : 12"
This sampler, first of two, holds three tracks from the classic ‘Spelunking” ep, which was originally released on Planet E and with which he solidified his name in the scene. Track a2, Land Of The Lost Dance, is an unreleased track from that era. Another fine example which shows that Recloose is the don of mixing funk and techno. With this compilation we celebrate Recloose’s early works from the late 90’s, early 00’s. This material is often regarded as his best. The compilation includes his best music from that period, both released and unreleased. / House / Detroit / [9/22/2010]

Mark E : Nobody Else : Running Back : 12"
BACK IN STOCK!! Hypnotize to mesmerize. That’s always been Mark E’s thing. Enjoying a sterling reputation as an editor as well as establishing his own label MERC with a string of well made 12″s and two dope compilations, the man from Birmingham complements our little label again with some original productions. Starting with out with Nobody Else, Mark puts love on top of love. Unfortunately for you : and good for us : you have to fetch a second copy to go back and forth with the weighty bonus beats. Flip side: The Wolf is a murky trip into classic cavernous house music with a bottom-heavy ruffneck sound and an attention drawing siren. That alarm bell is also included in a minute-long extra FX section and for those that cannot get enough, seeks and ye shall find a locked-groove. People who like to carry their record collection around on a hard-drive, will also be pleased to know that there is an additional track to be found on the digital release (no locked grooves there, we’re afraid).
